Shu talks about Japan

Ohayou Gozaimasu!

Welcome to another exciting adventure here at One Step Adventures. If you read my welcome page, you will see my purpose for starting this blog. I want to share with you something that I am very proud of.

This post is dedicated to all my students who are always there to take my lessons. I am also very happy for always studying hard and doing your best.

I gladly present the interview I had with Shu-san of Japan.

Local long form: Nihon-koku/Nippon-koku
Local short form: Nihon/Nippon
Etymology: the English word for Japan comes via the Chinese name for the country “Cipangu”; both Nihon and Nippon mean “where the sun originates” and are frequently translated as “Land of the rising sun”

Q: Where are you from?

I also like beautiful sceneries like Mt. Fuji. There are beautiful mountains in Japan. I went to Mt. Fuji 5 years ago.

Q: What is the most delicious Japanese food you have ever tasted?

A: My favorite food is Sushi. Sushi is loved by many Japanese but, it is expensive. One Sushi is ¥1000 or $10.

Q: Where can we buy that food?

A: Here in Japan, you can buy Sushi anywhere. You can buy at the convenience store ( ¥700 – ¥1000), but I recommend you to go to a Sushi restaurant. For instance, you can go to Kougetsu in Nagoya. The most delicious sushi can be found in Nagoya.

Q: What are the cities you recommend?

A:  I recommend you to visit Tokyo and Kyoto. In Kyoto, you can feel the old Japanese culture while in Tokyo, you can feel the new culture. If you go to Kyoto, I recommend that you visit Temples.

In Tokyo, you can see the anime culture and huge buildings.

Q: What is the best season in Japan?

A: The best season is Spring,  April & May. You can see cherry blossoms and the temperature is perfect.

Q: How can you describe Japanese people?

A: Japanese people are shy and kind, but I am not shy. Hehe…

Q: Is your language difficult to learn?

A: Yes, I think it is difficult to learn; even for me.

Q: What is your message to our friends who would like to travel?

A: Japan is safe. It has old and new culture, beautiful nature however, it can be expensive too.

Great! Thanks Shu-san!
